Principal Investigator Sergio D. Iñiguez, Ph.D. Professor & Associate Chair
Dr. Iñiguez is a Professor in the Department of Psychology at The University of Texas at El Paso. He earned his Bachelor’s and Master’s degrees in psychology at California State University San Bernardino before completing the doctoral program in Neuroscience at Florida State University. Incorporating non-human murine models, his research program examines how early-life exposure to psychotropic drugs and/or social stressors influence responses to mood, addiction, and memory-related behaviors across the lifespan.
